Kansas Corporation Commission: Protecting Kansans or Polluters?
Susan Royd Sykes, Kansas environmental activist, is a founding member of
East Central Kansas Oil and Environmental Sentinels.
The Kansas Corporation Commission was created to "protect public interests...and regulate oil and gas production by protecting correlative rights and environmental resources."
But, the Brownback administration turned it into a rubber stamp for polluters.
Join us to learn how ordinary Kansans can help our new governor turn the KCC around.
The Riley County Democratic Party general meeting begins at 6:30pm in the auditorium at the Manhattan Library. This is open to all members or anyone interested in joining.
The 7pm public forum is open to the public, regardless of party affiliation.
