Sydney Carlin is one of the hardest working members of the Kansas Legislature. That's what people in Riley County say about her, and I believe it's true.
The Kansas State Legislative session may be four months long - but it's a year round job. When not in session, Sydney is still working hard for the 66th District: meeting with residents, constantly educating herself on policies and issues that Kansans face throughout the calendar year, protecting our educators, farmers, military service members; the list is endless.
She has spent much of her life in public service, first on the Manhattan City Commission and then as Mayor, and then as a Representative from Kansas House District 66 since 2003.
She is a strong supporter of education and serves as ranking minority member on the House Agriculture Committee and is also on the Appropriations Committee. She meets with constituents often and pays attention to their wants and needs.
That's why I'm voting for Sydney Carlin for the House of Representatives.
