Odd-year local elections like these are non-partisan.

However, we have encouraged democrats to run and we will provide them with our support.

Because of the number of candidates (10) for USD School District, there was a Primary election on Aug. 3.

Elections will take place at the polls on Nov. 2nd, 2021 between 7AM – 7PM.

Countdown to the general election: November 2, 2021

Tuesday October 26, 5:00 pm: deadline for reception of advance voting application at the Election Office
November 1, 12:00 noon: advance voting ends
November 2: elections at the poll, in person, 7am– 7pm

Your completed mail ballot can

be delivered in person to the Election Office (110 Courthouse Plaza, Manhattan, KS 66502) until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day (Nov. 2) .
be delivered in person to any polling place in Riley County on Election Day .
be mailed and postmarked by Election Day. However, if postmarked by Election Day (Nov. 2) it must be received by the Friday after the election (Nov. 5) for it to be eligible to count.

Mail ballots may not be faxed.
