Joe Biden selected Democratic candidate in Kansas' March 19th Presidential Preference Primary
Kansas held a Presidential Preference Primary on March 19, 2024. President Biden was elected as the Democratic candidate by 778 votes out of 907 votes cast by Democrats.
The Presidential Preference Primary (PPP) is part of how political parties select presidential candidates.
The PPP was a closed election. This means that only registered Democrats and registered Republicans could vote in the primary (independents and unregistered voters are unable to vote in closed primaries).
