Tom Watches Out For Us Like A Hawk

I've known Tom Hawk as an educator, USD 383 Superintendent, as a member of

the Kansas House and now as a Senator.

Tom is an example of what a legislator ought to be. He is moderate and civil and able to work with members of both parties. He doesn't play party politics and uses common sense - something that we seem to have lost in our legislature.

One of the things I value most about Tom is that he remains an educator. As a state senator, he educates us here in the 22nd District about what is happening in Topeka - without rhetoric or divisiveness; just straight up: here are the facts and here are the consequences. I appreciate that I can trust Tom.

As ranking minority member of the Senate Ways and Means Committee and a member of the Governor's COVID-19 Statewide Economic Recovery Task Force, he's in a position to influence economic growth in Kansas. He's been an advocate for education at all levels, including KSU, and for Fort Riley.

His knowledge and experience works for all of us and makes him the best candidate for Senate District 22.
